The many identities
Of a perennial commoner
Who blooms on the peduncle
Of human palms
Providing cover for the roofless
Sanctuary for the senses
To reciprocate lip-chemistry
In the co-valency of bonds
And in those tender moments
Of cross-pollinated lips
You find the wealth of affection-grains
Stored under an umbrella silo
Feeding two hungry souls
With the staple of love.
