Launch of ‘Kite Dreams’

Dear Readership,

Yesterday was the launch of my maiden collection of poems. Some of the pictures of yesterday’s proceedings are shown here with this small notice. The poems in this collection were largely written between 2014-2015 and my partner/accomplice in delivering the poetry collection to the public, is none other than, Sarasavi Publishers.

The chief guest of the occasion was Professor Sunanda Mahendra (Poet, Lecturer, Novelist, Playright) and the guest of honor was Mr Malinda Seneviratne (Former Grataien Prize Winner, Columnist and Acclaimed Wordsmith). It was an intimate event and the audience comprised largely of family, friends, colleagues and well-wishers.

‘Kite Dreams’ can be bought from Sarasavi Bookshops all over the island. It is priced at Rupees 250/=.
