I was a designated nerd
Who with grandpa undies
And diaphragm-line pants and shoulder pads
Worked my way to a bespectacled lass
With tawny blush spotting all over
And heart running away
Flushed my never-been-kissed lips
Down on to hers – After all no braces
Or falling gums, could keep me away
From drifting down a feeble strait

Two gummy lips bonded
While glass panes humidified
And two braces snuck beneath locking lips
To journey through one worm hole
Only to tumble head over heels
Down that black hole
We all know as love.
