Marriage – An Account

Raindrops falling

From the heavens above

As two lovers stand in front of an alter

Held together by what is unbreakable

By mortal being or higher power

Where from a sip of wine and a bite of milk rice

To showers of confetti and stardust

Is a celebration of a union and a rupture of two nuclei

Where outside two vacated nests

Are two beings with wings

With an insatiable patience

To love each other……
